Certified in Management (CIM)
The has been Canada’s management certification, accreditation, and professional development leader since 1942.
The association’s internationally recognized professional designations, Certified in Management (C.I.M.®) and Chartered Manager (C.Mgr.®), allow professionals to be identified as the most competent, knowledgeable, and insightful business leaders in their industries.

Certified in Management (CIM)
The Certified in Management (C.I.M.) designation is attained by completing a certificate, diploma, or degree in management, or the 8-course or equivalent, and the Management Aptitude Evaluation (MAE).

U of A Relevant Courses
U of A Continuing Education offers all four mandatory courses as well as six (6) out of the nine (9) optional courses required to fulfill the academic requirements of the .
Since all of these courses are components of Continuing Education’s , students who complete the eight CIM courses can obtain a credential from the ß÷ßäÉçÇø while working toward their CIM professional designation.
If a student takes these individual, approved U of A courses, the courses can be counted towards the CIM designation, even if they do not complete the entire Management Development Certificate.
