Alumni Relations is offering 35 free spots in the Continuing Education course, Harnessing Social Media Trends for Impactful Content which is a $575 value. Participants who complete the course will be awarded 21 hours of elective credit toward the Social Media Certificate.
The certification courses for 35 people will take place June 3, 4 and 5 (online, 9 am - 4:30pm each day). Upon completing the introductory class, you will receive the signup link. The full 3-day course has a limited capacity and those who sign up early will secure their spot.

As a longtime social media influencer and content creator, Linda has worked with countless brands in areas including food, hospitality and tourism to develop engaging digital content that helps organizations achieve their goals.
As a senior social media strategist, Linda has worked with countless organizations from small and large business, non-profit, and government, on developing social media strategy, content marketing plans, and delivering social media training on a range of impactful topics.
Linda has been a ß÷ßäÉçÇø Faculty of Extension instructor in the Social Media Certificate program since 2019, including designing and delivering the Social Media Foundations course. Linda is passionate about supporting local—whether through amplification of local business, or through organization of local community events. She is the founder of the Edmonton International Cat Festival, Stop Race Based Hate, and the Chinatown Chow Down.
