The Department of Philosophy is greatly pleased to announce that has joined the department. Previously an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, she has been hired by the ß÷ßäÉçÇø at the rank of Full Professor. Koslicki's research is in metaphysics, ancient philosophy, and philosophy of language. She also combines these areas with her development of a neo-Aristotelian approach on such contemporary metaphysical issues as parts and wholes, ontological dependence, fundamentality, essence, truthmaking, and the nature of artifacts and artworks - currently she engages with our students on these matters in a seminar she teaches.
Welcome to the department, Kathrin!
