On November 20, as part of World Philosophy Day, Hassan Masoud gave a public talk in Persian, titled "Examined Thought: Encouraging Philosophical Thinking". The event was organized by Iranian graduate students and attracted students, postdoctoral fellows and alumni interested in philosophy. The talk, followed by Q&A and discussion, was about the urgency of questioning unexamined assumptions in the complicated and confusing circumstances we are experiencing at this moment in history.
