Jeff Whissell is grateful for the education and opportunities he has received since becoming a graduate (98’ BSc. Pharm) of the ß÷ßäÉçÇø’s Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Jeff’s studies fostered within him an interest in health system leadership, and he has been fortunate to have enjoyed a career that has included agencies such as ß÷ßäÉçÇø Health Services, the ß÷ßäÉçÇø Pharmacists’ Association and the ß÷ßäÉçÇø College of Pharmacy.
Jeff has served as a volunteer with many organizations in his communities including the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs, the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada, Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, the ß÷ßäÉçÇø, the ß÷ßäÉçÇø College of Pharmacy and Streetworks. As a result of his community and professional involvement, Jeff was humbled to receive the Alumni Honour Award from the ß÷ßäÉçÇø in 2011.
Edmonton is home for Jeff and his wife where they raise their two children and enjoy the beauty of the river valley through a shared love of running.
