Studies are showing the crucial role exercise plays during cancer treatment and recovery. In this special public talk, hear from two ß÷ßäÉçÇø scientists about their research into the major benefits of exercise for people affected by cancer.

Speakers:
Dr. Kerry Courneya: "New evidence on how exercise can treat cancer"
Dr. Courneya will present results from the first large scale trial showing that exercise can improve survival in patients with cancer. He will also provide recommendations on how people affected by cancer can incorporate exercise into their treatment plans and improve their outcomes.

Dr. Margaret McNeely: "Moving Forward: Exercise as a Key Component of Interdisciplinary Cancer Rehabilitation"
Dr. McNeely will share insights from the ß÷ßäÉçÇø Cancer Exercise (ACE) implementation study and other research in cancer rehabilitation, illustrating how interdisciplinary rehabilitation can improve quality of life, reduce treatment side effects, and support individuals across the cancer journey.
