University Sponsor Approval

Students and postdoctoral fellows are to be advised that external funding applications that request "sponsor approval" as part of the application process, are required to have their academic supervisor go through the Research Services Office (RSO) institutional approval process. 

It is recommended that students and fellows forward their completed application to their supervisor at least 10 business days prior to the sponsor deadline. Supervisors are responsible for creating a request for proposal in the RSO's Researcher Home Page so that the application goes through the University approval chain. Please note that if the sponsor requires signatures, they need to be included for RSO to be able to approve and sign off on the application.
