NAMP Standardized Patient Program
A Standardized Patient (SP) is a person trained to consistently and accurately portray a patient in a specific medical scenario. SPs present a patient’s history, physical findings and behavior patterns to create realistic learning experiences for medical students.
With the launch of the Northern ß÷ßäÉçÇø Medical Program (NAMP), a new Standardized Patient (SP) Program is now in place to support medical education in Grande Prairie. Our SPs help ensure high-quality, realistic learning experiences for NAMP medical students. Sessions are held in Northwestern Polytechnic’s Health Education Centre, co-located within the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.
