Ask for help
If our on-demand resources and workshops aren't quite what you need—or if your situation is a bit more urgent—we're here to help.
Let's get you connected with the right support.
What do you need?
I need assistance resolving a technical issue!
The U of A eClass Support team helps users troubleshoot technical issues with Canvas, and other learning tools like Zoom, Yuja, and WooClap.
For issues including (but not limited to):
- system access
- bugs
- broken links
- course migration
please visit the eClass Support page, where you can interact with a virtual assistant, call, or email for assistance:
You'll also find a list of (and workarounds!) on the IST eClass Support Knowledgebase.
I need basic guidance on using Canvas features (e.g. how-tos).
Self-serve support is available directly from Canvas. Visit and click the white "Support" link in the lower-left corner of your browser window — this button opens a page overlay that provides context-sensitive information based on your current location in Canvas, tailored to your specific role.
If you haven't already, you may also wish to visit the Videos and how-tos resources page for additional resources.
I need help leveraging Canvas to create engaging, effective courses.
