Enhanced Skills
Our Postgraduate training programs, accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, offer a chance to deepen your expertise in specialized areas.
In addition to the standard two-year family medicine residency, you can pursue additional training programs (PGY-3s) in fields like addiction medicine, emergency medicine or palliative care.
These competitive, six- or 12-month programs lead to a Certificate of Added Competence (CAC), giving you an edge in your career and the necessary skills to succeed in some of the most dynamic and in-demand fields of medicine.
