“The faculty here are awesome. They are super supportive and always helping us find clinical experiences that match our interests, while also making sure we get a wide range of exposure. I’ve made some amazing friends in this program, and we’ve grown really close through shared lunches at our home clinic, academic days, and resident social events. Edmonton’s been a great place to live, with short commutes and a beautiful river valley that's perfect for getting outside. I feel really lucky to be part of a program that helps me grow as a doctor while still enjoying life beyond medicine.”

“I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking a strong, well-supported residency experience. It has been a well-rounded first year of clinical training, striking a great balance between autonomy and supervision, with plenty of opportunities to explore niche interests.

One aspect I want to highlight, which I believe sets this program apart, is its emphasis on creating a safe environment for constructive resident feedback and its strong commitment to implementing changes based on that feedback. A huge shout-out to the program’s administrative staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our residency experience runs smoothly.

I’m grateful to be part of a program that truly prioritizes its residents, investing in us as individuals and as future leaders in primary care.”
