Elevating Your On-Campus Recruitment
Beyond just recruitment, we offer consultations to help employers strategize their hiring of U of A students, new graduates, and alumni.

Funding and Wage Subsidy Opportunities
: Offers a range of grant funding programs tailored to different sectors and stages of development.
: An ß÷ßäÉçÇø government program offers training grants to employers, providing non-repayable funding for purchasing third-party business training, including in-demand skills.
: A federal funding program that provides wage subsidies to employers offering quality student work placements. Contact swpp@ualberta.ca for more details.
: As part of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP), TECHNATION’s Career Ready supports businesses by funding 50% (up to $5000) of a student's wages during a work-term placement.
: Young Canada Works (YCW) provides eligible employers with wage subsidies and connects them with a pool of talented youth who bring innovative ideas and highly competitive skills.
: Canada Summer Jobs, part of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), offers wage subsidies to assist employers in not-for-profit organizations, the public sector, and small private companies (with 50 or fewer employees) to create quality summer jobs for youth aged 15 to 30.
International Student Summer Employment Program (ISSEP): Offers a wage subsidy that employers can use to give full-time undergraduate international students meaningful summer employment and experience. : The CAHRC’s AgriTalent program fosters connections among post-secondary students, agricultural employers, and educational institutions to develop a skilled, job-ready workforce for Canada's agriculture sector.
: Provides funding to eligible employers across Canada to hire, train, and mentor youth in the natural resources sector, including energy, forestry, mining, earth science, and clean technology.
: Mitacs, a Canadian not-for-profit organization, supports research and training programs by linking businesses with academic institutions and researchers. They facilitate collaborations and fund talent development for Canada’s innovation ecosystem. : Provides wage subsidies to eligible Canadian employers to hire recent graduates from university, college, and polytechnic programs for internships lasting 6 to 12 months in environmental science, technology, engineering, and mathematics sectors.
: In partnership with Natural Resources Canada, CGC-STIP aims to create green jobs for youth in the natural resource sector by offering up to 75% wage subsidies to Canadian employers.
: A non-profit organization committed to supporting Canada's environmental workforce through providing resources, training, and employment programs for individuals and organizations in the environmental sector.: Promotes artistic excellence across Canada by providing grants, services, prizes, and payments to professional artists, groups, and arts organizations.
: Culture Works Canada manages a paid internship initiative that supports careers in the cultural sector, funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage through Canada's Youth Employment Strategy.
