Expand the focus of your coursework by pursuing courses with global content. Did you know that the university offers hundreds of courses with international or intercultural content? Check out this list of over 800 courses from dozens of disciplines. If you take these courses, you can also use them towards the Certificate in International Learning.
Certificate in International Learning (CIL)
Earn this Certificate alongside your undergraduate degree — no extra courses or costs. You'll gain skills and knowledge to connect with people from different cultural backgrounds. If you enroll in the CIL, you can take free online training in intercultural communication.

Lee Global Education Awards
Supporting global education programming undertaken locally by the U of A, as well as providing financial assistance to individuals or organizations on and off-campus to engage in experiential global education activities for young ß÷ßäÉçÇøns.

Welcoming Newcomers Program: Supporting Students Affected by Conflict
Show your support for newcomer students. The Global Learning team recruits volunteers each spring — students, staff, faculty, alumni or community members — to build small teams of diverse volunteers to support incoming students.
