Growing a Sense of Belonging Through Gardening, Culture, and Community
Join us this Spring and Summer for A Taste of Home—a community gardening project for international students and the U of A community. We will grow traditional vegetables and fruits from around the world, share gardening skills, and connect through food and culture.

Financial Literacy Workshops
Learn about banking, budgeting, credit scores, fraud prevention, and smart investing through engaging online and in-person sessions. These workshops are designed to help you make informed financial decisions and set yourself up for success.
Wellness Check-ins
Relax, de-stress, and connect with support programs. Recharge with Unwind Your Mind activities, join Wellness Wednesdays for games, tea, and good conversation, or step outside for city excursions and outdoor recreation. However you choose to participate, you’ll find a welcoming space to de-stress and take care of yourself.
Intercultural Events
Connect with a diverse community while exploring new cultures. Attend fun and interactive sessions like outdoor survival workshops, multicultural potlucks, Indigenous education events, and celebrations of global and Canadian traditions. These events are a great way to meet new people and learn about different cultures.
